My name is Derick Friedman and my goal is to play baseball on a collegiate level. I am a straight A student and take my academics as serious as my athletics. I am a hardworking self motivated individual. I consider myself a grinder and I give it my all every rep in practice, in the weight room, as well as every play in every game. I strive to get better everyday. I consider myself a great teammate. I am unselfish and I believe in leading by example. I have developed into a utility type player, and I am willing to play whatever position the team needs me to play in order to achieve a common goal.
