Personal Statement
I have a good build, 6'3"", 185 pounds for a pitcher. I have pitched against many big teams and have came out victorious. My highschool team was not real good but I always picked up teammates and was a great leader. Other teammates looked up to me as a leader because of my great work ethic. I have got along great with coaches, players and parents. I come to the field and play as hard as I can every game. I am a very hard worker and will do anything to achieve my goals. I was contacted by numerous colleges to play baseball, and was invited to many camps/clinics such as Purdue, Virginia and Creighton universities. I now play for Allegany College of Maryland (NJCAA) for Coach Steve Bazarnic. My freshman year I tore my UCL which required me to have Tommy John Surgery. My surgery was done by Dr. James Adrews in Birmingham, Alabama in December of 2010. I have just finished my rehab and I am really excited to get back to playing. FInishing the rehab really proves how much love I have for baseball and how hard I will work to play. This year was my red-shirt freshman year and I did a lot of relief pitching for the team. I was named Relief Pitcher of the Year for my college team which was something i was very proud of after my surgery. After my two years of eligibility at Allegany College I would like to transfer to a 4 year school or play at the professional level. Not only do I have great work ethic in baseball, however. I achieved a 3.5 cumulative GPA my freshman year in college. My cumulative GPA my sophomore year was a 3.0. After my two years at Allegany College of Maryland my total gpa is a 3.25. I still have one more year to improve. I expect nothing less and will continue to achieve academic goals as well as baseball goals. As my love for the game continues to grow, so does my relationship with God.
