Eddy Navarro '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Eddy Navarro and I'm a hardworking baseball player. I'm truly dedicated to this sport. I'm an athlete who knows the game of baseball. My most important accomplishment as a freshman player was making it to the varsity baseball team. During my freshman year my number were 400 batting average and 12 doubles in 16 games during the season. I was asked by the head coach of the varsity baseball team to play with him in senior legion that summer which was a great accomplishment. I made the varsity baseball team as a sophomore and have been working really hard over the winter workouts to improve my game and knowledge of the game. Knowing that I'm capable of playing baseball in college makes me more passionate for this sport. What I can offer to a team is the promise to always work hard and never give up. I am the first to go to the field and the last to leave. When it comes to choosing what school I would like to go to, my options are very big. I mainly am looking at west coast states like California, Arizona, Oregon, and Texas but I am very open to going anywhere. I am open minded about colleges and hope to just find a college that fits me best. It doesn't matter about the size or location; if I can receive a good education and play baseball I will be happy. My top two choices for a major as of right now is either Cyber Communication or Criminal justice. However, my major may change over the course of the rest of my high school career. My realistic athletic goals are to continue playing baseball at a high competitive level. Another goal of mine is to make an impact on the team and to be an example to those after me. Knowing at the end of the day that I made a difference and tried my hardest, would keep a smile on my face.
