My name is Cade Collinsworth from Fort Worth, TX and I am currently a 17 year-old homeschooled 2025 playing for THESA Varsity (Euless, Texas). As a RHP, Short Stop, 3rd Baseman, Left Fielder, and General Utility player, I had the opportunity as a younger 15-year-old to play both Varsity and JV for the THESA Riders in the spring of 2022; we traveled as part of a 16-man Varsity roster to compete in the HWSA World Series in Tampa, Florida where we won the National HWSA Division II Championship.
I love everything about the game of baseball. People say that I am a natural leader; I am passionate about competing and thrive when my teammates and I push each other to leave everything on the field.
My strengths include a solid glove at SS/3rd base, a strong arm, the ability to utilize the entire field when at the plate, and a consistent focus when pitching (84-88 mph range FB). Because I am a kinesthetic learner, I constantly challenge myself to become more attuned in the classroom. I have an entrepreneurial, creative mindset, and have worked my own business even when traveling for summer ball.
In 2018, I was given an amazing opportunity to represent the United States on Team USA 12U Baseball as a student-athlete ambassador. We competed (and secured Gold) in the Tricolore International Games—a Junior Olympics event—in Reggio Emilia, Italy.
I was also honored to receive the following recognition through the years: PG High Follow List • "2024 Perfect Game Preseason All-American and All-Region Teams" (Texas Region HM) • "2023 Perfect Game Preseason Underclassmen All-American Teams" (Texas Region HM) • "Lone Star Preps: Texas High School Baseball: Top Right-Handed Pitchers in 2024" (9/16/23) • ACU Merit Scholarship Recipient • PG All Tournament Team (hitting) at the 2023 16U DFW Select Championship (DFW, TX, 7/23) • TAPPS Div III, D1 All-District HM (5/19/23) • TAPPS Div III State Championship Final Four (TX, 5/23) • TAPPS Div III Regional Champs (TX, 5/23) • PG All-Tourney Team (pitching) at the 16U WWBA South Championship (DFW, TX, 6/22) • PG All Tournament Team (pitching) at the 2022 16U PG WWBA Ohio Valley Select Invitational (Cincinnati, OH, 6/22) • PG All-Tourney team (pitching) at the PG 15U Knoxville Invitational (Knoxville, TN, 8/22) • 2022 Defensive MVP Award THESA Riders JV • National Homeschool World Series Association (HWSA) DII Champions: THESA Riders Varsity (Tampa, FL, 5/22) • Texas Premier 15U New Balance Baseball Championship All Tournament Team (Franklin, TX, 8/21) • Texas Premier All-Tournament Team award for the National Division of the 15U State Championship (Franklin, TX, 7/21) • 2020 Student Leadership Scholarship Recipient
I am looking for an opportunity to compete where I can play and contribute my strengths to the team.
