My name is Cash Nelson and I am a 2027 graduate at Regents School of Austin. I am currently 6 feet tall and weigh 165 pounds. Ever since I was five years old, baseball has been my passion and I couldn't imagine life without it. While I am primarily a catcher, my abilities are not limited to this position, as I am also competitive in other positions such as pitcher, first baseman, and outfielder.
However, my athletic abilities stretch beyond baseball, as I also play for the Regents Knights highschool football team as a linebacker and offensive lineman. Nonetheless, baseball will always be my favorite thing to play and practice when I am not in school. As a Christian, I know God has a plan for my life, and I truly believe He has put baseball in my path for a reason.
Throughout my academic career, I have always excelled in all of my classes and will continue to keep my GPA up throughout the rest of my highschool and college years. I challenge myself with difficult courses, such as honors math, physics, history, and literature. Even while taking these demanding classes, I push myself to keep my grades high, ending the last school year with a 4.2 GPA.
My future goal is to play baseball at the collegiate level and hopefully beyond after I graduate from high school. I am willing to work hard everyday to improve my skill set to reach this goal.
