Personal Statement
Hello. My name is Cameron Meisenbach. I am a class of 2020 middle and corner infielder at Lamar High School in Houston, Texas. I also play infield and pitch for Adidas Baseball USA National team. I take as much pride in my academics as I do for baseball. My strengths in the classroom are math and science. I am ranked in the top 2.1% of my high school class and usually score in the top 5% on standardized testing. My interests for college majors are business and engineering. I would like to get a degree in both. I am 6'1” tall and weigh 190 pounds. For every team I have played I have been seen as the leader, whether that is motivational or lead by example. I am known as a consistent infielder with good hands and good footwork. At the plate, I am known as a consistent hitter with power to the gaps. I can hit the ball to all fields and smart base running on the base paths. I batted .340 on varsity last year and .460 in Perfect Game events this summer. I love the game of baseball and play the game with passion. I have been told I play with fire or chip on my shoulder. I love to go work on my game and workout to improve my strength and stability. I am an extremely hard worker and take pride in my mentality of putting my nose in the ground and going to work to achieve my goals. I will not stop working until I have reached my full potential. I think very highly of myself as a ballplayer. I strive to be the best leader and ballplayer on every team I play for. Thank you for taking time to read this and look at my profile. I am looking forward to hearing from you if you think I am a good fit for your program.
