My name is Joshua Jones, and I am currently a Junior at James River High School. I strive to bring more to the field than a strong arm and a quick bat. Positive energy, a great work ethic and a team first attitude are all just as important to me. I enjoy competing, hitting for high average and am currently working on driving the ball with power to all fields. There is room for growth in my game, but the desire to improve on a daily basis is what keeps me motivated.
While I aspire to play baseball at the collegiate level, I am also looking for a college with high academic standards. I believe a successful future, whether it includes baseball or not, will be the result of a strong academic foundation. I am enjoying the process of researching various colleges in an attempt to find the best fit for me.
