Hello my name is Allen Shelton and I am Junior at Gretna High School. I am looking for a school that fits me well academically and athletically. More specifically, I am looking for a university offering an above average business program. With my college degree I plan to return to my hometown to manage my own business. I enjoy volunteering in my community through programs such as our local Christian faith based basketball organization (Upward). Also, I am involved in several clubs at my school and my youth group at my church.
Baseball has been a large part of my life since I was 4 years of age. I would describe myself as a determined, driven, and selfless team player. I do my best to encourage my teammates and motivate them to play to my team's full potential. I am always willing to play whatever position my coaches need. Over the past few years, I have become more aware of the brief time I have remaining in my high school career. An opportunity to play baseball in college will allow me to continue playing the game I love while receiving my college degree. My goal is to play baseball in college and receive my bachelor’s degree in Business from a university that is a part of God’s plan for me.
