At age six I fell in love with baseball. While I played football and basketball too, baseball has been my passion and my focus most of my life. My freshman and sophomore years of high school sports, as well as my first year of Babe Ruth baseball, has taught me that I am capable of being a positive influence and a leader for my teams. I faced stiff competition on my high school team this past year to earn my spot. Doing so has made me not only a better player, but a more well-rounded person over all. Hard work on the field and in the gym paid off, and I put up the best and most consistent numbers I have ever had. I am always striving to better my skills and become a better student-athlete.
Baseball has taught me the importance of self-discipline, leadership, and commitment. I am looking for a program that not only suits my academic goals, but also my athletic goals. I believe I have the talent to play at the college level; and possess the work ethic, leadership skills, and the character to make an impact on your program.
