Personal Statement
My name is Logan Ransom a young LHP who is determined to work hard and have the drive it takes to play college baseball. I am very competitive as well as determined to succeed in everything I do. Currently, I do and arm care program with Charlie Dragum, Hanover High School Head Coach, and am working on raising my velocity from 78-81 to something even better to be able to play for a college baseball program. In addition I lift with the baseball team after school during the fall and work out myself in the winter.
In the classroom I focus on my studies getting all of my work done to the best of my ability and completed on time. Grades are a very important part of my life which is why I spend adequate time studying so I can maintain good grades. Currently, I have never had a B, even though I'm in 8th grade and do not have a GPA yet, in any of my classes. Also I take challenging courses to continue to have a love for knowledge.
Outside of school I go to church and do many functions to help the community there such as helping work the Fall Festival that we put on. Also, I have helped with the Big Feed, an event to send food to people in Haiti and third world countries, as well as playing the violin in our Christmas eve services and performing in some of the plays our church puts on for the community.
Overall I strive to be the best baseball player and the best person that I can be so that I can achieve my long term goal of playing college baseball.
