Baseball has been a focused passion for me from the first day I stepped onto a Chicago Park diamond at age 8. Today, I am lucky enough to attend an amazing college preparatory school in Virginia, Woodberry Forest, where I can focus on my desire to achieve my academic potential while being guided by an outstanding academic advisor, Coach Chris Holmes, who is also the Varsity baseball coach. Having a coach who is also your academic advisor is such a unique privilege and one that I do not take for granted. I am a hard worker both on the field and in the classroom, and I know that even more hard work lies ahead if I want to achieve my goal of going to a top academic school where I can play baseball. The most important thing coaches should know about me is that I am 100% committed to being the best player that I can possibly be, that I will show up on time, personally organized, ready to work hard and will listen to my coaches so that I can continue to develop all of my athletic skills. I love being part of a team and I love the game of baseball, but it is also very important to me to continue to excel academically so that I will have a choice when it comes time to choose a college or university.
