Personal Statement
My name is Isabella Hartman (Bella). I am a 3-year Varsity competition cheerleader for Edwardsville High School and a former level 9 competitive gymnast. Although my years of experience in cheer is less than most, I believe I would be a good candidate because I have come such a long way since starting my cheer journey. It has become my new passion. What makes me different than other recruits in character, athletics, and academics is that I have put my mind, body, and soul into learning how to become the best cheerleader I could be. I am very hard working, well rounded, and aspire to get better daily. As a competitive athlete, I don't like to settle for where I am at. My determination makes me strive to learn new skills with my stunt partners and teammates. I always try to lead my example and to be an encouraging positive force for my teammates.
In college, my goals and aspirations are to major in either Psychology or Architectural Design. In addition to pursuing my academic goals, I would love to cheer for and compete with a team that feels like family. I look forward to trying new things and developing strong friendships with those around me.
