Hi! My name is Kylee and I am currently a Junior at McCook High School in McCook, NE. I am currently captain of the cheer squad, and recently was named captain for my senior year. Cheer has always been a part of my life. At age 6, I began participating in "Mini Cheer Camp", and now as a MHS cheerleader and captain, it is one of my favorite things to be a part of. Being accepted onto the team as a freshman changed my life forever. I learned to be a part of a team, be a leader, I gained confidence and I have learned and upheld the fact that even when I'm not in uniform I am always a cheerleader and represent my team and school. I have loved being a captain and I find myself being very protective of my team members and helping the new girls find their niche. I currently have a 2.7 GPA and scored a 16 on the ACT. I am currently enrolled in an ACT course class and plan to retake the ACT in July to improve my score. Academics are important to me, just as much as anything else that I am committed to, including cheer. I focus on school and try to improve myself and my grades as much as I can. At each and every cheer practice I try to become better, from tight arms to higher jumps, I am always looking to improve. I am excited to see where college cheer takes me in the future.
