Jenna Roman '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jenna Roman. With the support of my parents, I have been cheering competitively for 13 years.  This is my sixth season on a world's level team.  Currently, I cheer at World Cup Allstars in Freehold, New Jersey on their level 6 world's team Shooting Stars.  This season, I was chosen as team captain by my coaches due to my ability to manage difficult personalities   The past two seasons, I was the main tumbler on the team. This season, I am a flyer/tumbler.  I also train at Next Level with Dom DiPrenda and Michael Martinez working on my coed elite stunting skills.  

The past two seasons, I have medaled at world championships. In 2021, I was a bronze medalist. In 2022, I was a silver medalist.  In addition, my accomplishments include two time World's Perfect Athlete Grand Champion, 3 time Nfinity generation next athlete,  3 time Nfinity Legend and 2 time member of Team iC.

When I am not training my hobbies include tumbling, reading and cooking.

I love the sport of cheerleading which has taught me drive, determination, perseveration and leadership as well as working collaboratively as a team. I am looking forward to continuing my cheer career in college and experiencing sideline cheer and competing UCA/NCA.

As a competitive athlete, I have experienced injuries which has influenced my path of study, My educational focus will be on sports medicine/ physical therapy.
