Cheering in college has been a dream of mine for many years, but I never believed I could be good enough to do it. Over the last 3 years, I've been blessed to be on 2 different World's Cheerleading teams and both have scored in the top 10 (4th and 6th). I've also enjoyed being the Varsity Captain of my High School team and have helped organize many events for my high school team (summer cheer camp, mini sharks football performance, candy bounce back event and many more). I was recently inducted into the National Technical Honor Society and have completed the highest level of Sports Medicine which required me to work for a Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainer for over 120 hours. Medicine and the way the body moves/works is fascinating to me and I hope to continue my education in college as a pre-med/biology major.
While in High School, I’ve managed to balance many things including work, be an active participant in Young Life and my church, intern for a physical therapy clinic, high school varsity sideline cheerleader (captain my senior year), high school varsity competitive cheerleader (captain my senior year), level 6 all star cheerleader (3 years), and to maintain a 3.75/ 4.0 GPA all 3 years I’ve been in high school! I think many things set me apart from other people my age, but I am determined to be the best athlete and person I can be, I'm hyper-focused on my goals, I have extreme passion for my sport and I am a great friend and I love to help others. I am super organized and have managed an incredibly difficult load throughout high school. My sophomore year, I traveled over 130 miles one-way for all-star cheerleading practice and managed to maintain all A's and B's on my report card. My junior year, I was fortunate enough to be recognized as a UCA All-American Cheerleader and had the amazing opportunity to cheer at the London New Year's Day Parade. I love my sport and hope to continue at the next level.
