I am Clara Dowdle from Charlton, MA. I started playing field hockey in sixth grade and never stopped. For the past five years, I have played Turf and/or Indoor Court Field Hockey at the club level year-round. Currently, I play for Worcester County United Field Hockey Club’s U16 team. I play all positions and just want to help my team wherever I’m needed. I am also a Varsity field hockey player at Woodstock Academy.
In addition to playing field hockey, I am serious about my studies. I have earned High Honors at Rectory School and Woodstock Academy. I love music and have played violin since Grade 1. At Woodstock Academy, I am a member of the Strings Ensemble. When I am not playing field hockey, I play lacrosse, cross train, and work toward my pilot’s license. Community service is one of my passions. I am a founding member of “The Daughters of Anarchy” cancer-fighting philanthropy group. We have raised thousands of dollars for The Dana Farber Cancer Institute for over a decade.
My goal is to attend an academically rigorous college/university where I can also play field hockey.
