Hannah Nelson '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Hannah Nelson and I am a rising junior at John Burroughs School in St. Louis. Growing up in a big family full of athletes and musicians, I have learned to embrace all athletic and musical pursuits without hesitation. Starting with soccer at three and cello at five, I have played in countless games and concerts- loving each more than the last. I hope to attend a school in which I can be an active member of both the athletic and musical communities. My current aspiration is to study medicine and become a cardiotherasic surgeon while simultaneously playing field hockey at the collegiate level. Although this goal may seem a bit out of reach for some, I whole heartedly believe that with the dedication and patience I have learned from studying cello for ten years, anything is possible.
