My name is Nicole Williams, but I liked to be called Nikki. I am 15 years old and a sophomore at Cinnaminson High School in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. I was the starting Junior Varsity goalie my freshman year and the starting Varsity goalie my sophomore year. I had 25 shots against me and let in 4 for a 88% save percentage. I am very vocal in the goal and encourage my teammates to do their best during games.
I am interested in pursuing Criminal Psychology and Criminal Justice in college. A school on or near the east coast would be ideal. I look to be a socially active member of my college community, whether it is in athletics or service learning activities. From a very early age in my schooling I have learned to be accepting of others’ differences and participate in service learning programs. This foundation has helped me become a very supportive team player.
I have a great rapport with children and believe in following through with my commitments. . Last year, as a Freshman, I volunteered to be a ski coach for the Pocono Alpine Ski Education Foundation (PASEF) Development team at Camelback Mountain.
I worked with ten 6-8 year olds for eight entire weekends, developing lesson plans and teaching them the fundamentals needed to progress to the race team. This year, I was hired by the PASEF to continue coaching. Aslo, during my Freshman year, after my field hockey commitment, I was a nanny for a First Grader. I would get her off the bus, help her with her homework and make her dinner.
As you can see, I am a very responsible, well - rounded, social and compassionate individual. I take pride in my school work and everything that I do. These qualities will help me continue to develop and grow as a teammate and student.
Thank you for reading my Personal statement, please let me know if you have any questions or comments, or would like any further information.
Thank You!
Nikki Williams
