Jaime Haas '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jaime Haas, and I am a member of the Florence Township Memorial High School Class of 2024. I started playing field hockey in second grade and I’m now a Junior in high school. Over the years I have played several different positions, including forward, midfield and now on defense as a Varsity starter.  In Spring 2021, I joined the Centercourt Club team, located in Lawrenceville, NJ, to improve my skill set and attend college showcases. I also go to many small clinics outside of season. Another sport I play is basketball in the winter months for high school. This is to keep myself active and in shape during the off season.  Also, I workout a couple days a week with a personal trainer for strength training, conditioning, and nutrition. As you can see I am a coach able player who always loves learning about what I can work on to help improve my skill set.

When I am not on the field hockey field, I can be found volunteering my time doing the following:  Youth coach for the Florence Township Field Hockey Recreation program, where I help coach kids in grades third through eighth. I assist in many things including; stick work, passing, and coaching in games. I also manage the high school track and field team, where I kept stats for the running events. 

Although athletics are a huge part of my life, academics will always come first. During my Freshman and Sophomore year of high school I received Honor Roll. I am currently taking Honors, CP, and AP classes. In college I would like to study Criminology or Social Work. One of these degrees will help assist me with the groundwork required to one day become an FBI agent or a social worker.
