Field Hockey has always been a passion for me and will always will be a priority. Being on field hockey teams, whether middle school, high school or club teams, has helped me in my off-field life, in that, I've learned what it means to be a team player. In addition, I've developed life-long fitness and health skills and I've learned that hard work and persistence pave the way to success.
I am always a team player, and will make choices for the good of the team. This year, at my high school coach's request, I moved from midfield to offensive defender to strengthen the defense. I prioritize academics, and have developed a strong work ethic in balancing sports and schoolwork, which I believe will serve me in the long run. Most importantly, I recognize that character is one of the most underrated, but important, traits of a good teammate, and I always strive to bring dedication, patience and understanding to every practice, lifting session, game and tournament that I have the opportunity to participate in.
