I first became interested in field hockey after attending my first clinic. I was 6 years old at the time and I fell in love with the sport because the people around me were happy for me and they helped me learn something very new to me.

Now, it's important to me that any team I play on, I'm able to bond with my teammates and I'm in an environment where I can learn and continue to grow from the people around me, wether they are my coaches or teammates.

I have learned that to succeed, you have to lean on other people and have trust in them.

My goals are to maintain high grades and take classes that will challenge me to become better in high school where I can later get into a college where I can study medicine.

The biggest setback I have had was overcoming an injury where I was out for 7 months during 8th grade. While others trained everyday physically to succeed, I focused mentally on how I was going to come back.
