Dhilan Patel '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Dhilan Patel. I play primarily as a fullback, but I can also play as a winger and defensive midfielder.  I feel as if  I could be an ideal candidate for any team.  I aspire to play collegiate soccer at the highest level possible, and I want to help my team win in anyway shape or form.  My ultimate desire, aspiration is to become a professional soccer player.  Characteristics that separate me from other players would be my self confidence, growth mentality,  mental toughness under pressure, my calmness, and time management . I am a person who likes to lead by example rather than vocally. My strengths as a player would be my reading of the game, awareness, passing  defending, speed, and positioning. Aspects that I need to improve would be my shooting, strength,  and dribbling at speed. I feel as if my tight space dribbling, first touch, and decision making are at a good level, but I need continue to improve these aspects and make them strengths.  Academically, I am taking more rigorous courses to try to challenge myself and grow ; I am able to maintain a good GPA and grades. This year I've also joined an extra curricular activity known as DECA, and got indicted in the Eastern Regional High School Spanish Honors Society.  I also ran track in middle school.  Playing collegiate soccer would be a great milestone and achievement for me.
