I started playing field hockey in August 2015 and have loved the sport from the moment I picked up a stick. I first suited up as a goalie in 4th grade and I knew that this was my calling. Since then I push myself everyday to grow and improve and I always strive to do my best. I bring a fun and dedicated attitude to every practice and game as well as when I spend time with my team. I love being a goal keeper due to the leadership aspects as well as my ability to help my players on and off the field.
Though I may start out quite and shy, I quickly warm up to any team environment and find myself fitting right in. I keep all of my communication and body langue positive and encouraging to all on and off the field. I not only push myself on the field but also in the classroom. I love to learn new things and continuously look for ways to improve and grow.
In addition to field hockey and academics, I play lacrosse, compete in Envirothon and am an active member of student government, miniTHON, and Key Club. In my free time I enjoy reading, spending time outside, and hanging out with my friends. I also love to play with my dogs and try all kinds of different foods.
