Personal Statement

I would love to play field hockey at the collegiate level! I love the feeling of being part of a team with girls as passionate as I am for the sport.  Besides having my back on the field, I know that my teammates will also be friends for life.  It would be an honor to represent my school while playing as a college student-athlete.  Playing field hockey is the primary way I stay fit.  Besides good health, I also believe academics is important for my future since I aspire to be a physician one day. I’ve always been marveled by the human body whenever I was injured, and wondered how the ligaments and tendons looked inside as they were healing.  As an athlete myself, I would like to have the ability to care for other athletes in the future and help them get better to pursue their dreams just as I am working on mine.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
