Landon Byer '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Landon Byer. I attend Priceville High School where I am a strong leader on both the football and soccer fields as well as in the classroom. I have always aspired to be recruited as a kicker at the collegiate football level and am pushing myself to reach those goals as a freshman in high school. In my eighth grade year I was moved up to the varsity team because of my fast-learning and coach-ability. Even as the youngest player on the team, I show my coaches that I can play a big role. I push myself hard and strive to always be better. As an eight grader, I was kicking 40 yard field goals. But by pushing myself to get stronger, going into my freshman year I am now kicking 45 yard field goals. I plan to keep bettering myself as a kicker, a teammate, and as a person in order to fulfill my dreams as a college football player.
