My name is Grayson Edgemon. I am 6’4” tall and my weight is 190lb. I’m a student at Madison Academy in Madison, AL. I play Quarterback for a very accomplished and well respected football program. Our team moved up from 3A to 4A this year, and I led our team to a 4A Region 7 championsip, Alabama 4A North Region championship, and an appearance at the Alabama 4A State Championship game in Auburn, AL. I am very passionate about playing football, and I am truly dedicated to this sport. In addition to our program’s training, I am also currently training with Thomas Morris at QB Country in Nashville, TN. I am working year round to improve my skill set and become the best Quarterback I can possibly be. I’m dedicated to increasing my speed, strength, and weight, in addition to tirelessly working to improve my Quarterback skill set.
As a Junior, I was the starting quarterback on our team. We went 11-2, won a region championship, and made it to the quarterfinals in the state playoffs. I was honored to be selected 1st Team All Region in Alabama 3A Region 8.
When it comes to choosing a school, I am very open minded about colleges and really hope to find a college that is a great fit for me both academically and athletically. My main goal is to receive a great education while earning the opportunity to play the game I love at the highest competition level possible. I have not officially declared a Major at this time.
I am a very good student. I currently have a 3.94/4.0 GPA, and I have a 24 on the ACT. I’m also a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
In addition to my school involvement, I’m very active in my church youth group, and I organize a weekly devotional where several of my teammates and I meet before school, along with one of my youth pastors, to have a time of devotion. I’ve also volunteered time at the Miracle League, Kids to Love, and Manna House Ministries in Huntsville, AL. Giving back to my community and being involved in leadership opportunities are very important to me.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and for considering me for any roster openings for which I would be a great fit!
