I’ve played several sports in my life, but started with baseball and soccer. My third grade teacher was the one that saw football in my future and told my parents, “you need to put that boy in football.” Sports have been a big part of my life and through that I have learned to give 100% on every rep, respect my coaches, be a team player and win or lose with class. I have applied these lessons not only on the field but in the classroom as well. I am an effective team leader on the field as well as in the classroom. I respect those in authority as well as my teammates and peers. I’ve always tried to compete and challenge myself each and every day in everything that I do. I feel like I see the football field differently than other quarterbacks my age. I am doing my best to sharpen that skill. I believe that I have a talent to compete in this game, the characteristics of a student athlete and the work ethic to be a great athlete and person.
