Dakota Long '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'0"; 185 lbs Sr. quarterback from Danville, AR.  I am the starting QB for the Danville High School Varsity team where we were conference runners-up to the defending conference/state champs of 2010.  I received 4-2A 1st Team All-Conference and Tri-County 1st Team Offense Dream Team for the 2011 season.  Prior to the 2011 season, I was the 2010 starting quarterback for the 7-4A Ashdown Panthers Varisty Team where we reached the quarterfinals of the state playoffs.  My family made the move to Danville in the late Spring of 2011.  I currently hold a 3.0 GPA accumulative and scored 19 on the ACT.

I am looking for an institution where I can have success in the classroom; as well as on the field.  I am interested in a career in sports medicine or as an educator.  Ideally, I would like to become a part of a program where I can make an immediate impact for the team.  However, I am a patient person who is willing to work hard to obtain that position.  I have outstanding work ethics and work hard to achieve my goals.  I am constantly working to improve my skills.
