Cole Davis '25 Recruiting Profile

Sport and competition are the drivers in my life.  Whether it's basketball, baseball, golf or football, competitively or recreationally, I love every part of it. My upbringing thus far has consisted of listening and learning from my dad's experiences playing college football at USM and arena football, my mom taking me on the golf course, my sister on the soccer field and assistant coaching my brothers' baseball team.  I have traveled the country playing with 2 travel baseball teams, the Murieta Bulldogs and NorCal, played AAU basketball, junior golf and select soccer.  I've earned offensive MVP playing quarterback and earned the varsity starting position my sophomore year as well as starting on the varsity baseball team my freshman and sophomore year, making All Delta league, 2nd team in both sports in a very competitive D1 Delta league.   

My academic goals are to go to college and pursue a four-year degree. Kinesiology, specifically athletic training or Construction Management are my current course interests.  My father, a self-employed general contractor and my mom, a registered nurse have been great examples teaching me that hard work does pay off.  My dream is to play football at the collegiate level.  I love learning the detail of every position I play, my favorite being the quarterback position.  I embrace the position, working on my ability to control the game, ability to react, keep composure, anticipate and make decisions in a pressure situation. I really enjoy strength training, visualization and studying the position as well as defenses.  I bring energy to the team and can lead a team. I am comfortable in uncomfortable situations. I turn the page after a bad play and I celebrate with my team after a good play. I work hard all days of the week, I am always available, and a gunslinger/dual threat. I work on getting better every day, and try to put myself through something uncomfortable every day so I can truly enjoy comfort.
