Jonavan Darrington '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jonavon Darrington, I am currently a Junior and apart of the class of 2025 at Clovis West High School in Fresno California. I play wide receiver, corner, running back, I also play kick return and punt return for our varsity program. I start both ways and do whatever it takes to help my team win. I've played multiple sports since the age of five which include football, basketball and track. I currently live in Visalia California, which is about an hour away from my high school. My family and I sacrifice a lot so that I'm not only in a top school academically, which includes an amazing athletic program, but also in a school that is well preparing me for college. Since a young age l've received mvp's, top offensive player and numerous of other awards in all sports. Last year as a sophomore I was voted honorable mention in football by all coaches in our league and also received my first D1 full-ride offer from Fresno State University in the summer. This year I was voted #1 for top 5 corners in my area by BallouttillUFallout, and was awarded most valuable utility player player. I have been invited to numerous top football camps including National Combine for high school football in which I attended in Jan 2024. Through out all of my achievements one of my favorite awards is athlete of the year for my middle school in the 8th grade where my name will be on a banner in the school gym forever. I've also received academic awards which this year includes an award for maintaining a 3.0 gpa, and I will continue to make sure academics remains above everything. I am a resilient athlete who my peers, coaches, and teachers speak highly of on and off the court and field. I've had the desire to play football at the college level since a very young age, and I humbly hope that you
