Remington Blue '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Remington Blue, I would first like to thank you for taking the time to read my statement. I am a 6’4” 300 lb Offensive/Defensive Tackle in the class of 2024. My lifelong dream has been to play college football and with hard work and dedication take it from collegiate football  to the National Football League.I started playing football at age five, playing flag football until I was eleven. The years playing flag football helped me learn about the fundamentals of the game before starting in the local Pop Warner league.  I  played the following 3 years of pop warner,  during those three years I learned about the physicality of football which is an area of the game that I thrive in.  Covid took away my freshman year of football but as a sophomore I was the captain and starting right tackle of my high school’s varsity football team. During this season our team was undefeated with a 13-0 record and we went on to win the California 7AA state championship. I have been recognized twice times for All League at my high school. Once in Baseball and in Football as a sophomore. This year as a Junior I was the head captain of my Varsity team in which we went 12-0 and won a northern section title along with that my team owns the longest current win streak in California. I was recognized for All League in Football and Baseball along with an honorable mention in basketball. In the last two years of my life I have been thrown many obstacles that I have had to persevere through and I keep  pushing to better myself and grow as a student athlete. With the goal of being the college prospect that any college program would be proud to pursue.
