Greetings Coaches and Recruiters,
My name is Jonavan and I am looking to further my education and play football at the next level. I have a strong work ethic, great time management, and a team player. I have been training in sports since I was 4 years old from Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) to playing football. I competed in full contact MMA since I was 6 years old in which I won several championships in different weight classes. I know the meaning of hard work and sacrifice. I am a 4.0 student, varsity football starter, train with my team as well as on my own with my trainers, have my own business as a barber and an online retailer, and attend weekly bible study. I aspire to be a business owner, a contributing member of society, and volunteer in my community. I believe my character, work ethic, drive, experience, and faith sets me apart from other recruits.
I made the All League Defensive Second Team. As a junior, I started in all the games as an OLB or MLB. Keep in mind Mission Viejo High School is #4 in California. This past season I had 95 total tackles, 12 TFL, 3.5 sacks, 4 hurries, and 2 fumble recoveries.
We played ranked teams such as:
- St. John Bosco (#1 in the nation)
- Centennial (#34 in the nation, #5 in California)
- Long Beach Poly (#44 in the nation, #15 in California)
- Sierra Canyon (#9 in California)
