Matt Linn '22 Recruiting Profile

My overall goal since grade 6 has been to attend a college in the USA.  Not only am I working towards being an excellent student-athlete, but I am also focused on being an exceptional person. I prepare, follow and update an annual written plan including short and long term goals to ensure my overall goal is achieved. These goals are related to academic, leadership and athletic performance. I look forward to achieving great things and am extremely focused on my goals and aspirations. I feel that I am different than most student-athletes due to my drive and work ethic and my proven ability to achieve everything and more than is expected of me. My excellent marks in school are testament to my academic achievements. As a quarterback, I have been putting as much effort into my leadership abilities and knowledge of the game as I have into perfecting my techniques and athleticism.  Knowing how important teamwork is, I am always working with my teammates to improve our performance during practices and games. I consistently put in countless hours in the weight room and in the film room studying my own performance as well as opponents defensive weaknesses. I believe that all of these factors combined have made me, and will make me, a successful student-athlete. My motivation is to make myself and my family proud and to make a difference in the world.
