Carolina Calzada '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing golf since I was 4 years old and have always had a passion for it. My goal is to play golf in college and I am willing to do whatever it takes to get to that level. In college, I want to pursue a major in Psychology and hope to gain a career in this field as I have always been very interested in these topics. I will be a great candidate for your team because I am honest and I take roles such as integrity and respect very seriously. I am also very committed to golf as I have played for my highschool team for all three years and was the co-captain fr my Junior year and I will be captain for my Senior year. Even aside from my highschool golf season, I always make sure to look after my teammates and help them with things, even if it does not include golf. I am an exceptional teammate and I demonstrate that through my highschool golf team and when I played for USGLL and Jr. PGA. So far, throughout my golf career I have played in SCPGA, Future Champions, California Junior Golf since I was 8 years old and I was one of the 60 junior golfers picked from the entire country to play for Steph Curry's Underrated Tour in 2022 and 2023.
