Personal Statement

I love the sport of tackle football and have been playing since I was six years old.  For the past six years, throughout middle and high school, my skill level and football IQ have improved tremendously and so has my love of the game.  I feel passionate about football from putting on the uniform, to the roar of the crowd, to the physical contact, but most importantly how much of a privilege it is to play.

2017-2019 {Middle School)

In addition to playing  on my school's football team, I also played varsity basketball and baseball.  I've participated in football camps such as Offense Defense (OD), Football University, as well as the National Preps "Collegiate Showcase".  Throughout my middle school sports career, I have continued to improve as a player and team leader.  In football, I have earned two consecutive awards for Defensive Player of the Year and last year was awarded co-MVP.  In the six years that I have attended OD camp, I have earned four Performance Awards and last year was awarded MVP.  In 2017 I played in the O-D All-American Bowl in Atlanta Georgia and this year, played in the West Coast Regional All-American Bowl in San Diego, and was invited to play in the 2020 O-D National All-American Championship in Texas.

I was a finalist in my school’s spelling bee and went on to compete in the district’s championship. As I look forward to my freshman year in high school, my focus is to achieve a 4.0 GPA and continue playing football and basketball for my school.  As for college, I hope to earn a scholarship to continue my passion of playing football while learning the fundamentals to establish myself in the film industry.

2020-Present (HighSchool)

Football

Some freshmen football achievements are as stated: 2021 Spring Season Jared Collom Award,  My sophomore season I earned the 2021 Fall Season Jared Collom Award, 2021 Fall Season Caden Wakefield Award, 2021 Fall Season Defensive MVP, and Principal role 2022(4.00). My junior year, I was the 3x Jared Collom Award Winner (2022), 2022 Fall Season Defensive MVP, and 2022 Fall Season Ryan Geach Award winner. My Junior year I was made a team captain and made First Team all League. I led my team and division (12) with 116 Tackles into playoffs where we battle hard, but unfortunately got knocked out first round.

Track and Field

During my first year of track my sophomore year,  learned that I really enjoyed the 4x400 race, with my team’s help, we became league champs in the 4x400 and made it to CIF.

Academic

Off the field I consider myself to be a balanced and socially responsible person.  I consistently maintain above a 4.1 GPA and have achieved a minimum of principal role status throughout my high school career. During my Junior year, I qualified for all four Honor Societies.  My academic focus is in Fine Arts.  I am consistently awarded lead roles in our school’s productions and also take courses in film making.  My work ethic, persistence, and intelligence have granted me a 4.53 GPA at the conclusion of my Junior year first semester.

Personal

As a freshmen I was awarded 2021 homecoming prince by my peers as well. I also help my school's admissions participating as a student ambassador, and giving tours to potential new Linfield families. Outside of school, I am a Screen Actors Guild member and have been cast in national commercials and music videos including one with Blake Griffin in 2013 where I was his 6 year old self. I have assisted in raising funds and building a house for a family in Mexico as part of a mission trip. I was also nominated by a few of my teachers to be a part of my school's Leadership Academy, where I can learn more about what it's like to be a leader and how to get others to follow me. After gaining the title of the Meadowview Stream Restoration Team's student ambassador, I've helped produce educational videos regarding environmental issues in my community. I aspire to continue my study of Fine Arts through college and hope to work in the film industry for my lifetime career.
