Zak Larson '17 Recruiting Profile

     I started playing football in second grade, on the first day of practice I walked up to the coach and looking straight up at his 6'4" frame told him I wanted to be his Quarterback! That's how my career as a Quarterback started and ever since then I have been the starting Quarterback on each level of teams I have played for. I have always been committed to being the best player I can be on the football field. I have excelled as a leader on the teams I have played on and I am devoted to encouraging my teammates to be the best they can be also. I strive to challenge myself to always go one step further then is required both on and off the field. I think everything through and have a coaching mentality. My goals are to lead my team in any way possible to victory and eventually I would like to be a coach myself. My long term aspirations are to teach and develop young people for the game of football. 

     I have been a multisport athlete growing up. I played the positions of Short Stop, 3rd Baseman, and Pitcher in baseball and was a point Guard and Shooting Guard in basketball. In football, I excel as a dual-threat Quarterback and I am well versed at running the ball and adept at finding the open receivers playing in a spread offense. I would be a great leader for your team.
