Personal Statement
I've known I wanted to run in college since 6th grade, when I began running competitively. I'm interested in learning more about the fields of sports physiology, dentistry, real estate, and many other things academically. It is difficult to know what the right school might be, however it is very important to me to find a team that I can contribute to, and connect with in a meaningful way.
I was diagnosed with dyslexia and dyscalculia in the 1st grade, and also as twice exceptional due to extreme learning difference with a high IQ. School has been difficult in many ways academically, especially with math and reading, so finding a school that strikes a balance between running and education is very important.
I aspire to find a school that will help me contribute to a top NCAA team, discover my true career passion and find a path to the Olympic trials in track.
