Personal Statement
From the first day of my freshmen year of football camp was awful. I was told I wasn't good enough to play and the coach already knew who his starters were going to be. He told me personally "You better just quit because I'm not letting you play over my son, even if you are better." After I heard that I told myself that I will never let someone tell me I am not good enough. The head coachs son was the quarterback all year. One game he put me in and I drove the team all the way down to the field. Even after that I was still told "I will not get to play no matter what." I was not going to let that coach ruin my future. From that day forward, I have worked twice as hard to become the best. I became the starting Quarterback my sophomore year. From my sophomore year all the way to my senior year was just hard work and dedication.
The start of my senior year did not start out the way I wanted it to. We lost our home opener and then from there on out we lost every game except for the last game of the season. Even though we were not winning I was still a leader on and off the field. With all the controversy, I set multiple state records. I want you college coaches to know that I am dedicated, hard-working, a leader, and most of all coachable. I want to find the perfect fit for my academics and athletics.
