Personal Statement
I am currently a Class of 2022 high school senior at Seminole High School in Sanford Florida. Our team won the 2020 Class 8A State Championship where I was the starting middle linebacker.
I also played baseball in high school but I've decided to concentrate and focus on football.
I love the game of football because there are so many moving parts and various ways to contribute to your team. Those who know me, know that I will play with the same intensity from the 1st whistle to the last whether the team is up by 10 points or down by 10 points. My competitive drive and the ability to be coached are my strengths. I stand out from many other linebackers because I can remember calls and memorize plays. I enjoy breaking down film to prepare me at reading whether the offense is running or passing the ball. I also pick up on tendencies very well.
Outside of sports, I enjoy going out with friends to the movies, bowling and the beach. I also volunteer and participate at local religious youth groups. I've accumulated over 200 volunteer hours these past four years. Included in those hours are the various trips I've made to other states on mission trips to serve less fortunate communities.
I would love the opportunity to play at the college level. I am a hard working student athlete, I come from a hard working family who come from nothing. My commitment, focus and the competitiveness I bring to the game of football cannot be conveyed in words.
