I love ALL sports, but football is my favorite and my passion. Since I began playing as a little 2nd grader, whether with my friends or 3 man with my dad and with my best friend, I've always excelled and enjoyed success playing football. Time flies when I'm on the field.
As a middle school player I had great success as a full back. I was quick and very hard to stop. In high school as I grew bigger, I transitioned to defensive end. I still am super quick off the snap and get a lot of sacks that way. I led the team in tackles and sacks last year as a junior and my first game this year I had 4 sacks, 1 causing a fumble which I recovered, a blocked punt and several other solo tackles, including one where I caught up to, and tackled, the running back downfield. In addition to my speed I have great hands. My personal record benching is 300, squating 455, powerclean 225. I'm 6-1, 205 pounds, no fat. I was captain of my team last year, and am captain again this year.
School is important to me too. I recognize that I have to do well in school in order to be able to go to college and study a career that will help me reach financial goals and raise a family one day. Studying Fire Science and working my way to some kind of elite rescue team (during natural disasters or other scenarios) are my career goals. I believe that playing college football, in addition to allowing me to continue to live my passion, will make me a more well rounded person, teach me a lot, and help me become the best man I can be for my future family and community.
