My name is Hunter Guy and I attend the Academy for Classical Education (ACE) in Macon, GA. I will graduate in May 2025. I play varsity football as FS and WR; weighing in at 168lbs and stand 5’10” tall. I have also participated on JV/Varsity track and basketball. But, my true love is football and my teammates. I’ve played football since I was 6 years old; old enough for county recreational ball and have played school football every year since the 6th grade. I have aspired to play at the collegiate level since my first play on the varsity field.
My strength is reading defense and knowing what to expect, getting down an open hole and filling it to make a play, making solid tackles, and helping my teammates make a play on the ball. I'm an all in player that will do whatever it takes to win games. I'm humble enough to stand on the side lines observing, getting water for teammates, and skilled enough to make that winning play. I am continuing to work on strength and discipline.
I work even harder in the classroom to maintain good grades. I volunteer at my school’s community outreach, youth football camps during the summer.
My plan after graduation is to attend college to pursue a degree in kinesiology, exercise science or any related field with an end goal of becoming an Athletic Trainer. I know that my rigorous high school honor and AP course load has helped to prepare me for the college level, both academically and athletically. I will continue to push myself in the classroom and on the football field to earn a position on the team. I am open to opportunities, with the goal to find the right college match at the highest level of competition as possible.
Now, let's play some football!!
