I've been playing tackle football since I was 6 years old.I instantly fell in love with the game after my first touchdown. My academic goals for high school is to have a 4.0 which I'm still working up to. My academic goal for college is to get straight A's and graduate with a degree in one of the fields I'm interested in. One of the best things that could've happened to me was when I moved from California to Alabama. I was the new kid and had to earn a spot on the field if I wanted to play.
So I had to work harder than anyone else because I was the new kid and had to prove that I should be playing on Friday nights, which I ended up doing. But what that taught me the most was that nothing is going to be given to you , you have to work for what you want in life and the coaches there taught me so many things when it comes to the game of football that I can use for the rest of my football career. The bad part about being a military kid is you move a lot, so this means that every time I move to a new school I'm automatically behind someone at my position and have to prove to new coaches why I should be playing. The upside to this is this made me work harder in everything I did. This taught me the harder I work towards a goal the more of a chance I have to achieve that goal. Which is exactly what I'm doing to achieve a chance to play football at the collegiate level.
