JUST SIGNED MY LETTER OF INTENT TODAY (2/4/15) WITH ST JOSEPH'S COLLEGE - INDIANA
************************************************* I'M A PUMA !!!!!!!!!!!*******************************************
My goal is to obtain my degree in a meaningful field of study that I can use to create a life for myself. Playing multiple sports since age 6, I ultimately have found that the effort, discipline and commitment to improvement needed to excel in sports also helps me in the classroom and many other areas of my life.
I pride myself in being "team first" and I believe team success is far more important than any awards I receive individually. I can always be relied upon by coaches and teammates to perform my job well as I am always accountable to my teammates.
2013
Football
Honorable Mention All-Conference Selection - Offensive Lineman at the Center position for our playoff football team..
Basketball
Most Improved Player Award, Starting Center for the "Illinois 2A State Champion" basketball team
2014
Football
I achieved the following as a member of the Saints "4A Illinois Quarter Finals" football team:
1st Team All-Conference selection - Offensive Lineman at the Tackle position
1st Team All-Conference selection - Defensive Lineman playing the Tackle position (and part time Defensive End position)
1st Team All-Area Selection - Offensive Lineman
All Defensive Lineman Team - as selected by Sportscaster, Jim Mattson, WEEK TV
Central Catholic Lineman Award - voted by coaching staff and teammates
I can be counted on to do my part in the classroom as well. As a member of the "National Honor Society", I have maintained a 3.4 on a 4.0 scale throughout high school while participating in sports. The faculty nominated me to attend "Illinois Boys State" due to my ability to show leadership. This leadership, I believe, is a direct reflection of participation in sports.
I am ready to take football to the next level. At 6'5", 240 lbs, I feel my ability to get off the ball quickly puts me in a position to be successful each play. I would like an opportunity to show you what I can do on the field and in the classroom.
