For me, education has always been my top priority because my education is my future. Even when football inevitably passes me up and I am no longer able to play, I will have an education to fall back on. My academic goal for high school is to do well enough that I don't need to play football in college to be accepted into a good school but, at the same time, playing college football has been a dream of mine for as long as i can remember. In choosing a college I will choose the most academically enabling school that I can play football for. Vince Lombardi said, "Leaders are made, they are not born". This is why, in everything I do, I strive to do the best I can and hopefully help others do the best they can as well. I am always trying to lead by example because I firmly believe that while leading by word can be effective, leading by my words and through my actions will aid me in achieving far greater in life as a leader and as a person.
My father was my biggest reason to play football. It was a huge part of his life growing up until he was severely injured and could no longer play. I felt like it was my duty to let his dream live on through me and i play every snap like it's my last because it might be.
