I enjoy playing and being successful in both Football and Track & Field (discus throw) at O’Fallon Township High School. It has strengthened my love and pursuit towards my dream to perform at the collegiate football level. My main positions are offensive guard and tackle, as well as (sub) at the Defensive Tackle position. I’m a humble person, very easy to get along with, never get into trouble and try to convey and expect the same from the people around me, especially my teammates.
However, once I hit that football field, I turn into another person, one that’s “hungry” to perform at a high level, and encouraged my teammates to do the same e.g. working together, and focusing on becoming better football players. I’ve taken this “go-getter” attitude in the class room as well. Unfortunately, I’m currently, not enlisted in any honors classes however, I am taking advanced courses and as I enter into my Junior and Senior years, honors courses will be a must for me so to secure a solid educational background.
I am fortunate to have parents that have provided me with a sound foundation. They’ve ensure I participate regularly in Church and other social activities (Semi-annual visits to nursing homes, also assisting the homeless by providing food, water and blankets during the holiday seasons). Lastly, the most important thing I am looking for in a school is simply the opportunity to show my talent both on the field and in the class room, to be a part of and participate within an outstanding program.
