My name is Jaden Howard . I am 5’11 185 pounds running back and outside linebacker and I am currently a Junior at Hanover Central High School. Throughout my years in high school I had the experience of starting 2 years of varsity football. My sophomore year was really a learning experience for me as I understood how high school football was much different than middle school. My junior year, I really planned on taking my skills to the next level and showing that I can get awards like Allstate, 1st team all conference, and 1st team all area . However I suffered a wrist injury that needed surgery and was out weeks 1-8 of my junior season. Through all that, my team voted me for the Mental Attitude award as they said I had serious determination and kept working the path as I got through the injury. That I had a serious impact on helping my team make it to regionals.
During the off season I still put in work for football. My dad and mom are always looking for camps that I can attend so I can show off my skills. I also go to speed training and strength and conditioning training so that I’m always improving my body one way or another. My parents are also always pushing me to keep my grades as we know that I need good grades to get into the colleges I dream of getting into. Throughout my high school career I have averaged a 3.25 GPA and last semester I had a 3.45 GPA.
My dream is to get a scholarship offered from d-1 A d-1 AA and d2 schools. I want to go to a school that excels in both football and computer engineering since this is the major I want to study in college. I want to compete at the highest level possible and I’m going to keep working hard to achieve the goals I have set for myself.
