Ty Goans '24 Recruiting Profile

I have a dream to play college football.  During high school, I enjoyed playing tight end, long snapper, and defensive end.  I played center my junior year where I was needed due to injuries on the offensive line.  I also enjoy playing basketball, baseball, and golf.  I was honored to be chosen as team captain for my senior year and have worked hard to be a good leader on and off the field.  

My older brother played quarterback and linebacker and loved playing college football for the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes.  I’d like to have a similar experience, learning more about the game from amazing coaches, and making lifelong friends.  

I have been on the honor roll at BHS and attend Emanuel Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, KS.  My plans are to major in finance and eventually work in a financial institution or money management company.  I work part-time with my father at our construction and rental business and will be working for Prairie Bank of Kansas this summer.
