Personal Statement
Hello thank you for taking time to go through my profile. It has been a life long dream to be able to play college football and I'm and so thankful that I am able to start my journey being only in 8th grade. I'll keep this as short as possible. I've been a constant, and consistent player each year I've played football at the defensive end position. I would say I'm an explosive hitter and get off the ball a lot faster then anyone I go against. Last year I recorded 9.5 sacks, 8 forced fumbles and 4 fumble recoveries and I wish our managers recorded our tackles. In just 6 games due to covid. I think what sets me apart is that I'm a leader who sometimes doesn't need to say a word but can get my team riled up and excited. My previous coaches at each level always used me as the highest standard and I was the example that my teammates should try to be like and I always would have my guys back and each practice try to get my guys on d line excited and learn the game together and keep everyone focused. Academically wise, I would call myself a hard worker in school. Before covid when I attended school in person I had a gpa no lower than 3.500 even sometimes ranging into the 4.000 area. This past year I was online for almost the whole year and it was a huge mental challenge but i was able to stick with it and finish with a gpa of 3.175 which sort of disappoints me but I know that in high school things will be better.
