Kallen Higdon '24 Recruiting Profile

     My name is Kallen Higdon. I live in Rose Hill, Kansas, but I was born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and lived there until 2nd grade. 

     I started playing junior football in 3rd grade and have been playing every since. I have always played on the line, both offense and defense, because I have always been the tallest one on the team. I am 6’5.5”, 286 pounds now, at the age of 17, and still seem to be growing. I guess I’m trying to catch up to my size 17 feet. 

     I am in track this spring and I have private speed and agility lessons twice a week with Brian Butler.   I wrestled last year and have played baseball every year since tee ball.
     
     I’ve been growing really fast this last year.  I don’t want to be just big. I want to be fast and quick, and sometimes big and fast don’t go together. I will conquer that assumption. I will play hard for you on each and every play, whether we’re winning or losing. 

     I work and study hard to keep my grades where they need to be.  

     I am strong in character and have a deep faith in God.  Thank you for considering me.
