Currently I am undecided on a major and plan to spend the first year or two in college exploring options. I do feel I am leaning toward a career biology or healthcare related. I do well in school making all A's and B's and I feel football has been a part of my discipline to do well on and off the field.
I have played football since I was 5 years old, playing almost every position on the field at one time or another, but focused mainly on defense through Middle School and High School until this season. This season I was not only instrumental on defense as the outside linebacker leading the team in total tackles for the season, but also on offense as lead blocker as full back in the wish bone, tight end, and wing back. After playing both sides all season, I feel I am a strong blocker and have overall matured as a player this season.
I think what sets me apart from other recruits, I understand the game of football. While I am not the fastest or the biggest, because I understand the game, I am able to read the offense/defense and adjust. I understand my role on the field and the role of my teammates.
Ultimately, I would like to continue my football career on the college level and feel I can be an asset to the right team/school.
